WVDOT - Division of Highways, in conjunction with West Virginia University, has undertaken a state-wide research program into the development of high performance bridge decks. PCI, through the Builders Supply Association, has been selected to represent the Eastern Panhandle. PCI will be producing concrete for two test slabs for long term study by WVU College of Engineering and Mineral Resources. This study's ultimate goal is to develop performance based specifications for high performance concrete and specialized overlays for the State of West Virginia.
